South Circle Farm

South Circle Farm is a small business and social enterprise rooted on Indy’s near south side.   Beginning in 2011, South Circle Farm has transformed a vacant lot on Meridian Street into a diverse and intensively cultivated 1.5 acre vegetable farm just 2 miles south of the Circle.  An abundance of high-quality crops are raised using only organic methods.  SCF loves its entire rainbow of crops, and is especially proud of its delicious kale, salad mix, strawberries, and carrots, and its wide variety of strong vegetable plant seedlings.

These fresh products are available for purchase at an on-site farm stand or CSA, at City Market Farmers’ Market, Pogue’s Run Grocer, and the Indy Winter Farmers’ Market.   South Circle Farm also cooperates with a number of local partners to connect people with the lessons that this farm in the city may offer.  Partners including Concord Neighborhood Center, Fall Creek Gardens, LBEAD, and School #31 provide farm-based educational opportunities to youth and the public.
